Unable to connect to port 8080 .
Hi ,
I installed Oracle 9i and i am facing the problem with Tomcat when i typed http://local:8080 in browser it is asking for
enter Windows login id and password under the realm "XDB" for three to four times. And finally, a page with the words "Unauthorized" comes-up.
How can i fix this problem.
Please help me.

I guess you do realize this is not the most appropriate forum for this question since Sun Java System Application Server is nowhere to be seen, right?
In any case, you issue is due to the fact that it is not Tomcat that is runnning on port 8080 now - Oracle will assign this port to its XDB database process by default. You can either change the port Tomcat is using, or the port XDB is using. This might help:
