Hello,
it's very unlikely that this is an hardware issue.
I would suggest that you search Sunsolve and/or the "net" and then post (based on your findings) on the Solaris forum.
Btw. besides that you're using Solaris 8 (revision, patchlevel) more details are required.
Michael
In fact, it's because I've passed 3 days looking on net and sunsolve and didn't find anything correcting my problem, that I ask on forum now.
This is the release I use :
5.8 Generic_108528-13 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10
And that's patch I applied following sunsolve resolution : 109154-21, but after rebooting workstation issue was the same.
Thanks for your help
Hello,
you are using Solaris 8 2/02 without any patches - except this single one - applied.
The current kernel patch level is 108528-29 from June 2004.
Apply the latest patch cluster before investigating further.
This is a software issue, please re-post on the Solaris forum.
I didn't ask for additional information, it was just a hint that this information will be required if you re-post in the correct forum.
Michael
