V100 300 GigaByte drive only show as a 120 GB drive

Can a 300GB drive be used in a V100... (Seagate drive ...non-sun)

I have installed solaris 9 and the drive via form lists as a 120 GB drive.

I had an 80 GB drive before this and it worked fine (non-sun)...

Is the V100 in need of a EEPROM /OBP update?

The V100 only supports up to 127GB or so, this is because the IDE controller is LBA32, you would need LBA48 to support larger disks.
