ssh, rlogin with ldap and publickey or .rhosts problem

Hi,

i've setup on Solaris 10 authentication against an Openldap server.

Authentication via password is working on ssh, telnet and rlogin. But when i use ssh with publickey authentication it won't work for any LDAP-user. with local user (like root) publickey authentication works.

The same behavior is when i use rlogin with a matching .rhosts file. LDAP-User won't work. Local user (like root) gets access.

sshd is the one the comes with solaris (/usr/lib/ssh/sshd).

can anybody help?

with best regards

Having the same problem,Migrated from Solaris 8 to 10 and now all LDAP users won't login with keys. This is something related to pam.conf I think, but not sure what.If you find the solution please let me knowDmitry
