SMC 3.5U1 lost details
We use SMC 3.5U1 to manage about 350 Servers. About a year everything works fine. But now we have the problem, that more and more of the managed servers are 'loosing' their details.
If you open the details view, you just see the server entry itself, but no more entries (Hardware, Operating System etc.). Also there's no possibility to load new modules. In the module browser you get the error message "Failed to get module information. Close and reopen this window to try again".
Has anyone an idea for the cause of this problem?

When you double-click an icon for a system it will always open the details window (even if the Agent isn't running at all). It's only after that new window is open does SunMC go and check if any data is available. Common causes for your type of problem are:
-the Agent process ("esd - init agent") is no longer running on that system
-a firewall may be blocking connectivity
-the port or IP of that Agent may have changed
-there is a problem with the SunMC security settings that's preventing that Agent process from responding to your Server
All those things are fairly straightforward to check. Is there anything in common between your unresponsive systems? (i.e. same hardware type, same subnet). Have you recently upgraded or changed your SunMC Server?
