Unable to add object on SUN MC 3.6

I Have a SMC 3.6 and not able to add a object after i deleted the object from the management

console. While I reinstalled the Agent I added up the VSM module as I wanted this agent to be N1SM server as well. The error I get while adding is an object is "The agent is either down or very busy. Please verify the agent is still running".. The netstat is not listening on 1161 though.. This was working before I Installed N1sm and Now I removed N1sm and re-installed the SMC agent .. the agent is running while I checked using "ps -ef | grep esd". The /var/opt/SUNWsymon/log/agent.log file could help much.. any idea ?
