Setting up my NIC

I am new to Solaris. I have loaded Solaris 10 on an intel box. During the install I could not set up my NIC. I beleve that Solaris did not get the response that it wanted from the domain controler so that it could set up the DHCP. I have completed the install and now I need to configure my NIC. Does anyone have a good check list of steps for me to take or can anyone point me in the right direction of a web resource?
