T3 Monitoring with SMC

I have installed SMC 3.5 agent on a Sun Fire-V240 which is running on Solaris 9 and is connected to a T3

I install the agent..but when it comes to give information of T3 it does not display any T3

I have made an entry in /etc/hosts/ and /etc/ethers file

What could be the problem?

The ethernet address was wrong. ..i've corrected it and gone ahead

But i'am stuck at one point.

I have installed the server on Machine A

Machine B is connected to a T3..on which i've installed the agent.

Installation went fine.

But when i create a new object..i can only see machine B...not the T3

I observe that there is no load module option on machine B

can anyone let me now do to go about this?

Please make sure that T3 monitoring AddOns are installed and you are loading the modules with appropriate privileges.

Hi ,

Could to specify what exactly i've gotta do, as i'm new to SMC..

I already configured the T3 with ./es-inst

and installed only the agent on the machine that is connected to the T3

how do i go about the add-ons?

I am doing this with root permission.

Look at SunMC 3.5 supplement for A5x00/T3 . http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/817-2999?q=T3+%2B+Sun+Management+Center
