V880 Hardware View
After installing SunMC v3.5 sucessfully on the server and various clients, I find that the hardware view for the V880's gives the following error:
"Hardware Summary Information not available"
I've verified the base and agent installations with es-validate.
All other clients seem to display the appropriate hardware information when selected.
Any thoughts?

That message is usually shown when the "Config Reader" module is not loaded. Can you check the Module Browser tab, Hardware section, and see if it's loaded? If not, see if it's one of the modules that you can load.
If "Config Reader <type>" isn't on the list of modules you can load, that system probably is missing support for the v880.
Hopefully you just need to load the module. I not, rerun /opt/SUNWsymon/sbin/es-inst to add in hardware support (i.e. you may have said no to the package before).

Did you maybe install a SunMC supplement to get the V880s to work on the Agent side but not apply the supplement to the Server as well?

There is no supplement that I'm aware of for the WorkGroup Server, other than what comes with the SunMC Update 1 media. I've verified the server also has the server side installed (es-validate and pkgchk). Is there another supplement for the V880's?

You mentioned that you have 3.5, not 3.5.1, right? If so, then the VSP supplement for 3.5 covers 880's:

Some additional info....
After looking at the SMC Console log, it appears that a click on the hardware tab invokes a call to snmp://<IP address>/mod/Config-Reader4uwg/system
The only Config-Reader modules I can find after a re-install of the WorkGroup Server module is Config-Reader4uvh.
Still can't see the hardware graphics after the re-install.
Thanks
