Do you meet the OS requirements? (Solaris 8 or 9):

Also, last I checked the Server install required 512MB RAM. How much memory do you have?

If you meet the requirements, try installing from the command line and see if you have more luck. If you are just looking to eval the basic feature set then you can also try SunMC 3.0. The basic architecture is the same and you can also install the Server on Solaris 2.6 + 7, and with only 256MB RAM.
