Alternate Pathing options

I have a Solaris 8 V480 with Sun-branded QLC HBA's to McData Sphereon switches to a FastT 700 array.

However Solaris SDS is being used rather than Veritas with DMP.

I'd like to implement an Alternate Pathing solution for redundancy/performance but I'm concerned that with SDS, there isn't a suitable option for this combination.

Can anyone answer if Sun Alternate Pathing or Sun Traffic Manager will be a suitable solution? There is no chance of a near-future switch to Veritas I'm afraid.
