Storeedge A1000 for Oracle RAC without Sun Cluster?

I am planning to use my 2 Sun 450 servers with Storeedge A1000 to configure Oracle 10g RAC, can i do that, or should i use Storeedge D1000? any link for a step by step guide to configure this shared storage for that on both servers? Recommendation?
