Solaris 10 Mozilla 1.7 Browser has no connection

Hi,

I have installed a Solaris 10 x86 on a computer in our domain. Solarisand everything works fine except for Mozilla. Basically, Mozilla browser will not connect to any website when using the name of the website. The IP address will work though so:

www.google.com = No Connection Found

66.102.7.147 = Google's website

The latest Mozilla patch has been applied:

http://sunsolve.sun.com/search/document.do?assetkey=1-21-119116-18-1

There's nothing wrong with the /etc/resolv.conf entry because I can still nslookup websites and ssh into other computers on the domain.

Firefox has been compiled and that works fine, but I cannot figure out why

/usr/sfw/bin/mozilla

will not work.

Thanks.

What does your /etc/nsswitch.conf contain for hostname resolution?
