The Linux Compatibility Assurance Toolkit (LinCAT)

I want to port some C++ code from Linux to Solaris 10.

I read about the tool called LinCAT (The Linux Compatibility Assurance Toolkit) from sun site and tried to download it. But I am not able to do so. The site does not respond and I tried it from many locations and many times since last 5 days.

Has anyone used this tool. Please can anyone help me in this regard.

Thanks and Regards

Pradeep

I did a google for lincat. The 3rd item was the Sun one:

http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/solaris/downloads/lincat/index.html

I followed the 'Installing LinCAT' link:

http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/solaris/downloads/lincat/lincat_1.html

and then the '"LinCAT" can be downloaded from the Sun Download Center.' link.

You'll need a Sun download centre login (no cost), and you have to accept the licence before downloading.

If all that doesn't work, then there is either a problem with the Sun server, or with your download client/firewall.

The FAQ:

http://www.sun.com/download/faq.xml

Has extensive details on resolving client side issues.
