SUN280R - PORTS BLOCKED

Hey there someone invoked the ipconfig -a 4 command. We tried to telnet into the machine and then via hyper term but we cannot. We can ping the server but did a port analyzer and it said all ports are blocked.Any suggestions?BTW: What does the ipconfig -a 4 do?

ifconfig changes are not persistent. So you just need to reboot.Try telneting in the the management IP if you have configured it.If not your easiest recourse might be to power cycle.

You can find out the IP address of the management port if you can log in.But since you can't your stuck.Just powercycle it.

You can try serial into the management serial port.As opposed to the ttya.
