v210 Scsi connector specs

Hello,

I have a v210 server which I need to connect to an external tape library with a 68GDM connector. However, the v210 connector is identified in the getting started documentation as a "mulitmode Ultra 160SCSI" . several questions.

is the ultra 150scsi external connector on the v210 equivalent to a scsi 68HDM? I am trying to identify the connection in order to buy the correct cable. Also, does Sun sell this type of cable? The physical scsi port on the v210 is much smaller in size than the one on the device I want to connected to.

Thanks!

Hello,

the SCSI jack on the rear is VHDCI to save space. Get a VHDCI68-HD68 cable. These cables are available in different length (0.8, 1.2, 2.0, 4.0 or 10.0 meters).

Some option numbers (to locate the parts in the Sun System Handbook or Sun Store):

X1132A, X1132A-Z, X1135A, X3832A, X3832A-Z, X3830A, X3830A-Z, X3831A, X3831A-Z
