x2100 stuck at "Award Preboot Agent"...

Hi,

I put several x2100's into production only to have them get stuck on their next reboot with the very first message (from the bios"

"Award Preboot Agent"...

it never says "successfully loaded"

I have an open case for Sun to research how to reset the BIOS with a jumper,

but thought someone here may have already been through this.

I am not sure what is triggering this - it never happened in the lab...

Although one difference is that in production I am using apcupsd on the serial interface to monitor a UPS - could it be interfering with bootup?

I removed the serial cable and now I get NO output on the VGA console!

Very frustrating - any tips appreciated.
