RedHat ES 64 bit on a V20z

I tried the lastest Installation Assistant and it supports rhel 4 UL. Is there a way to get the full version of RHEL 4 ES on a 20z.?

Why does the install assistant only support RHEL 4 UL and not ES full version as well?

Your question is a tiny bit off-topic for this forum.

It's a RedHat question, not a hardware question.

You may have to contact Sun techsupport or RedHat techsupport for an accurate answer.

The V20z system has just now been EOL'd, in June '06.

(End-Of-Life means it's been discontinued),

So ... Sun may just not re-qualify any newer OS's for it.

Also, perhaps RedHat just hasn't bothered to give any

necessary time or effort in qualifying it for Sun's computer.

Or ... perhaps RedHat hasn't provided enough information to Sun

to allow Sun to qualify that OS properly.

As I said, you'll have to contact the OS support departments of the companies.

This is just a user-to-user discussion forum, not full-blown techsupport.
