A1000 array and 146GB drives

Does the A1000 support the 146GB (X5268A) drives?Thanks,Harry

Yup, fully qualified, as per the SSH.

... and that is despite the array being EOL'd in June '04

and the X5268A disk option not appearing in Sun's product line

until after that date (or maybe just about then).

Go for it !

My only personal concern would be if the room temperature

were anything unusual, meaning hot.

But if it is "standard datacenter" 20C ? Fine !
