issues with array failover

Hi,

Does anyone ever tried the continue working while one of the array members is down ?

I have 2 array servers ( Solaris 10 SPARC ,SGD 4.2 ). Their status is ok and if i start session on 1 server and then login to the other server I can resume the app with no problem.

The problem is when one of the servers is down. Login to the other server is stuck until the other server is back again.

Did I missed anything ? As far as I understood , the scenario described above should work.

Some more info about this topic :Only if the Solaris server is down ( no ping ) the other array member is stuck. If there's and the SGD server is down, there's no problem to work with the other SGD server.Thanks.
