Windows App Sessions not stable

Hi,I have installed SGD 4.20 on Solaris 10. And I am having this problem that whenever I launch a windows application, its session remains for a very seconds and then disconnects. This problem is coming on only one server in the array the rest are working fine.Zainab.

Since it only happens on one Windows server, may be you should check the event log on that server to see if there are any error messages

Is your SGD server in the same subnet as your Windows servers or is it running from a DMZ?If running from different zone like DMZ or over a VPN, check the firewall routing and policies.

We have two servers side by side installed and configured same. Only difference is the Solaris patch update. Both systems are on Solaris 10. One of them is working perfectly the other one is having problem.

uname -a from working systems:

SunOS server1.mydomain.com 5.10 Generic_118822-26 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V490

uname -a from system with funny behaviour

SunOS server2.gmydomain.com 5.10 Generic_118833-03 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V490

Routing information is same on both servers. Both have same SGD version installed. Could not find any specific patches for SGD 4.2.

Funny behaviour machine connects to the Windows servers, opens the application. We can work in the application. However after 20 to 40 seconds the closes on its own, while we are typing.

My question to identify the problem.

Do you have a secure firewall traversal installation?

Is there a client side proxy?

I have had this behaviour as well, changed some parameters and it was gone:

./tarantella config edit --sessions-aipkeepalive 30

/opt/tarantella/var/docroot/resources/login/sco/tta/boot # grep AsadKeepAlive *autostrap.html:<param name=\"AsadKeepAlive\" value=\"30\">strap.html: <param name=\"AsadKeepAlive\" value=\"30\">
