Hello Everybody

I have aapplication running on Redhat 9 ,which is also my SSGD 4.2 Server.

(The application internally fires a Adobe Reader to open PDF Reports. SSGD clients wants to save this report Local drive).

Can any body advice me a solution by which my SSGD clients(mostly windows 98) can access their local drives and save their work locally ?

As in windows 2000/2003 Server Applications Clients are able to see their Local drives.

Is it possible with any third party S/W

Thanks in Advance

Regards

To the best of my knowledge, Client Drive Mapping is only available __IF__ the application server is a Windows one (eg, Windows 2000/2003).

Perhaps you could setup an FTP/SMB server on the SGD server as to allow clients to get access to files/folders available there but that is outside the control of SGD (IOW, you'll have to open port 21-137/139 for the above to work).

Best.
