What are the sun java system portal server capabilities?
We have a project and we decided to use portal server. We are comparing the portal servers and I have seen that, the sun java system portal server is not covering our requests. Maybe I am worong. I want to list our heading and can anyone say which ones the sun java system portal server covering?

I have seen some strong sides of sun portal server but I I think it is not covering this list. What is your comments?

this is web-app-container functionality, so yes it's supported by the JES stack
- for LB an extra LB is recommended, this has also to be made HA
- Session FO is suported
- Service FO is supported

You defintely have to differentiate between portal, content aggregation, access mgmnt and document mgmnt capabilities. these are defintely different worlds and tasks. the combination of both is a real value and several vendors try to offer ONE product for both which is more a stumbling around than a real solution .. to my mind ..
so the integration task is important to get the real value, in case you are looking for a solution which allows the integration you are fine with Sun's portal solution
