Will UltraSPARC T1 opt for SOI

OpenSPARC will be very flexible in the areas of

implementation. The designer will have the freedom

to choose and innovate in many directions as they

prefer. These include:

- Choosing a technology of their preference whether it

be 130nm, or 90nm or 65nm or 45nm

- Choosing bulk silicon or SOI

- Choosing a foundry of their choice anywhere in the world

- Choosing tools to implement the design from any EDA

vendor they want to use
