Announcement: Java Studio Creator 2, Update 1 Available !
Java Studio Creator, Update 1 is available for download .
Update 1 upgrades the application server from the bundled Sun Java Application Server 8.1 to 8.2, the database from PointBase to the open source Java Database 2 (Derby), and incorporates all the hot fixes and cool samples. For download instructions and more info see:

Java Studio Creator 2 Update 1 is available now. The instructions on the website for downloading Update 1 are being corrected. Instead of using the IDE's Update Center to download and install Update 1, the entire product must be downloaded and installed separately. You can leave an earlier Java Studio Creator 2 installation in place, install the new Java Studio Creator 2 Update 1 in a different directory, and run both versions side by side on the same computer.

ChuckBing, thanks for making that explicit. Yeah, we had some last minute confusion with the web updates, but they're fixed.
