JES installs on unsupported linux, esp. fedora
I know that JES is not supported on fedora and other linux versions.Curious if anyone has managed to install and run JES on fedora II or fedora IV.If so, what JES components have worked? What issues and workarounds?

I've spent all day getting JES running on CentOS 4. It isn't easy, but I think the whole process isn't easy even if you're working on a 100% supported platform. Even though there are some quirks, I am eager to wake up in the morning to tinker some more.
You need to install the compat-libstdc++-296.
