Install Companion CD Problem
i am a newbie with solaris. I have question with my solaris companion cd installation.
Ihave installed solaris 10 with 4 CD's before. And I install the solaris companion CD (iso) in the JDS using the "lofiadm" before mount the solaris
companion CD iso image. Next, i run all of the installer and the installer went succesfully with GUI (I saw the log file). But the problem is : why in the JDS's start menu is not up to date with my new installation (ex: the programs like GIMP, XMMS, etc from companion CD)? In the solaris login menu, i don't found KDE too, but i have already installed the KDE from the Solaris COmpanion CD. I think not just that, i try to run "xmms" from the run menu is fail too and maybe other installation is too.
How to solve the problem?
