Mix environment of JES2 and JES4

Good day all,

we are looking of upgrading our environment from JES2 (JES2004Q2) to JES4 (JES2005Q4), the path we are looking at right now is to upgrade the directory and the access manager, both are running on the same dedicated server . Then do the upgrade of the apps server, portal, AM SDK, instant messaging later this year, those services run on another dedicated server. Is this path logical and will SUN support us, or we better start planning of doing a big bang type of upgrade, briniging the full environment down on do the upgrade of all services at the same time.

Thank you in advance.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me, I even spent a little time reading through the Upgrade Guide and no gotchas jumped out at me. Though if you want some assurance that Sun will support it you'd be better off asking Sun support directly.

The most worrisome part would be using the old AM SDK to talk to the new AM.I was going to suggest you ask about that in the AM forum, but I see you've already done that!
