Need to load a servlet [as web plug-in], while bring up the iPlanet

Developing a web plug-in. For this we are using the servlet. Need to bring this servlet up and running, while bring up the iPlanet itself. Is there any way to do this?. It should handle the entire incoming request and need to apply filter also on the incoming request.

I am using iPlanet version 6. Thanks in advance. Waiting for reply.
