error while using pkgadd comand in Solaris 5.6

Hi all,

I am doing some R&D with Packaging in Solaris 5.6 for our project requirement.

First i created one simple package, installed the package, tested it and removed.

Then i am trying to create a package with the same files with extra depend file to test package dependencies, but it is giving the following error:

## Processing package information.

pkgadd: ERROR: duplicate pathname </sparc/usr/srinivas/ggsrMathLib>

pkgadd: ERROR: unable to process pkgmap

Installation of <ggsrMatLb> failed (internal error).

No changes were made to the system.

Can any one lighten me what could be the reason.

Thanks

I am able to solve this problem.I had given a line in prototype file to create a directory with absolute path and mentioned BASEPATH in pkgproto. This was casuing the problem.Sreedhar Gupta
