Cannot open pkginfo file

Hi forum members, I recently installed solaris again, but I needed to upgrade so I installed updatemanager, At the begining I choose everything to install, but The update manager was freezed and I have to aborted it, later I install several parches one by one, but I after several parches I got this error mesages from the console, " Cannot open pkginfo file/var/sadm/pkg/core/pkginfo " and this message appear with every parch that i want to install,I tried to uninstall every parch that I have installed, but even I couldn't uninstall all that had installed, because appears the same error message, I would like to start again with all the installed parches

The only example of this error we have seen was caused by a hardware fault.Please check /var/adm/messages for any errors, or indications of hardware faults.

Killing the update manager has produced a core file in /var/sadm/pkg/, which now confuses patchadd/pkgadd. Remove /var/sadm/pkg/core and try again.Hope that helps,mp.

Thanks Forum Moderator for replying . I checked to messages files but the errors that I found was the same like in the prompt when I couldn't install the parchs

Thanks par-adm for replying I did what you wrote , in the same sesion didn't work, but after reboot THE ERROR MESSAGE DISAPEARED , thanks a lot
