Change Sun ID for Update Manager

How can I change the user id that a system was registered as?

You can re-run updatemanager on the machine you want to change ownership. Then File-> Manage Subscription.
Enter the new username/password/subscription key you want to associate with the machine.
I don't know how to address folks that do not have a Subscription Key (ie only want security updates).

Not yet. Command line patch will be out soon that should make this a lot easier. If you can hold off for a week or so until our patch (120776, 120777) that enables cli mode is released .atalkingchimp at 2007-7-6 13:29:35 >
