required packages after SUNWCreq Core Installation
Hello all,
can someone tell me if Sun Update Connection works after a SUNWCreq Installation (Type Core) ?
I don't have and want a X window manager installed.
My experience is: no, at least if you would leave it that way.
It shows me now that at least these packages must be added additionally :
SUNWmfrun
SUNWj3rt (requires SUNWxwrtl, SUNWxwice, SUNWxwplt)
SUNWj3rtx
SUNWj5rt (?)
SUNWj5rtx (?)
SUNWxwrtl (requires SUNWxwdv, SUNWxwfnt, SUNWxwplr)
SUNWxwice
SUNWxwplt add
SUNWdtcor (?)
SUNWctpls (?)
At the moment I can start updatemanager, but I still get errors on the console, eg. if I use the Preferences menu

or eg. immediately after the updatemanager start a popup window shows up
"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/sun/patch/../PatchService (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass (NativeMethod) ..."
Additionally I must say I conducted some OS hardening, so an error may not reflect a missing package, rather a permission problem.
At the beginning I need to know if my server still misses some package. Anyone here with similiar experience?
