Information gathered by /usr/bin/updatemanager

Need to automate the registration portion in jumpstart, is the information gathered by updatemanager just a frontend to (most) the patchpro options?Any known way to automate this part of the registration process?Thanks in advance...

Sorry to say, not yet. We are working on a cli scriptable version of the registration process but its not available yet.
It should be possible to set up a Sun Update Connection Proxy and then jumpstart clients that point to it. The Sun Update Connection Proxy requires a valid registtration but the clients that point to it don't.

Ugh, was trying to avoid the proxy thing at the moment but maybe I'll have to rethink that.I'd much rather see the ability to schedule updates at a particular date/time than this little cli bit. Sort of a pain, but it doesn't really take all that long. I'm just dyoung2 at 2007-7-6 13:28:21 >
