showrev -p does not match what Update Manager shows installed
I have had several failures of Update Manager not completing. After restarting, the patch list that it previous downloaded show installed even thought showrev -p does not show the patch installed. I can go to /var/sadm/spool and see the patch and after unpacking and manually installing, the patch shows up in the showrev listing. I feel I have several patches that the Update Manager shows installed as not really being installed.
Any suggestions on how to get these two lists to reflect real install patch level.

updatemanager keeps a cached copy of all files under /var/sadm/spool/cache (default). Usually, to force a complete refresh, I would remove all of the files that was created in that directory. I have tried doing that a couple of times and that forces updatemanager to update its system information files as well as the necessary files from getupdates.sun.com. It did not work all the time but if you check the timestamps on the newly created files they should be all new. Becareful not to change the directory tree or updatemanager would not work properly.
