So glad to see something for JCAPS. We are installing it and moving our code over, had a very ruff time with the import and export. Over that hurdle now. I looke forward to hearing from other who are going to use it in HealthCare....

There was an issue with the import/export of the HL7 projects. Sun provided an updated jar file and it fixed the problem of importing a HL7 project. We are in the pilot phase for the JCAPS and it seems to be good so far. WIll update the group if found any issues.

Hi,

I'm in healthcare, too. We are located in Germany. I'm developing 3 smaller projects with JCAPS just to be sure that this is the right tool. We are running all our interfaces with SRE 5.0.5 until now.

I've already decided to wait until 5.1.1 is released before going live. There are too many (smaller) issues with 5.1.

Regards,

Detlef

Hi

You mentioned that sun provided a fix to your export/import issue.

How did this happen for you? Is there a resource setup that developers should be checking?

I had understood that the policy for JCAPS was to be more of a quarterly release process, rather than various 'ESR' fixes.

Any clarity here would be very much appreciated.
