CDrom usage on solaris 10

Hi ,I installed Solaris 10 , but cannot play any CD or DVD.I'm using the JS3 console.When i put a CD in my ASUS DVD or NEC DVD-writer JS3ejects him after 10 seconds without playing anything.Hints ?Hans

Are you presented with the same problem when logged into the CDE desktop ?
If you have this problem utilizing BOTH desktops, try this procedure as it may solve your problem.
Log into, either CDE or Java Desktop, as " root "
and type the following in a terminal mode :
# svcadm enable smserver
