Sun ultra 60 without a disk?

Hi all,

today I acquired a sun ultra 60 workstation and I wanted to install solaris 10 on it.

For some reason the installation stops and says there is no disk found. There certainly is a disk in the system and OpenBSD has installed correctly this afternoon.

What am I missing?

Ok, solved. It seems Solaris wants the disk to be completely formatted. If someone will ever find this topic and needs help, use the format command. there you can format the entire disk but it will take a very long time.
