s10-b72 x86 CD1 Install fails

Hitrying to install s10 on a Sony jumps directly into debugger.Same CD set, on a DellPower Edge 1850 the install process hangs on: "Configuring devices"Any idea?Regards

On Solaris 8 & 9, the first installation CD was

actually redundant - and a little flakey - so

you were better off starting with the second

CD.

In 8 & 9, they were called

-installation

-1 of 2

-2 of 2

and you only really needed the last two.

I've not tried this on Solaris 10, but it might be

worth a try.

On Solaris 10 there no separate "Installation" CD any more!The only bootable CD is the CD "1 of 4".
