Oooh, does that mean I can use two mice and no keyboard ...? ;)
Mouse problem on Ultra10 :
I need to plug back in the cables that somebody plugged out.
In ftp://docs-pdf.sun.com/805-0423-12/805-0423-12.pdf , Fig 1-6, I see one eight-pins port for keyboard and mouse. On my Ultra10, I see this one, and I have the same port in the 'UPA graphics' zone (see Fig 1-6).
When I plug in keyboard in the keyboard/mouse port and the mouse in the UPA graphics zone, then keyboard works but mouse doesn't. If I switch them, none works. How to get them working both ? Should there be a sort of two-to-one-connector to plug both in the keyboard/mouse port ?
It worked before, I just never looked behind to see how they were plugged in...
Hello,
have the same port in the 'UPA graphics' zone (see Fig 1-6).
this is the "stereo" port, not a keyboard/mouse port on the UPA board !!!
This "stereo" port is used to connect two of these UPA boards (on systems that can take two of course). Btw. stereo isn't sound in this case but visual (3D-pictures).
