Scott,

Your question is outside the scope of these Hardware forums.

It is off-topic because you hope for guidance to reconfigure something within the OpenWin GUI

that will result in a change of behavior on a lump of hardware (the keyboard).

It is a software question, a Solaris question.

I'm not certain where to redirect you.

Maybe you can "sneak" the question into the Install from CD forum

in the SunOS link at the side of the page.

Keep in mind that there may not be many people who continue to use Solaris 2.6, which is in End-of-Life support status -- and soon to go End-of-Service-Life,

--and fewer still who continue to use Open Windows.

Hi,

I kinda knew I was shooting wildly when asking in this forum. I happen to work on a Government system and we're moving to 2.8 within a couple of months. I have searched the Internet to see if I can find info on setting up KBD macros but have found little info on the topic. I will keep looking.

Thanks for replying,

Scott
