Blade 100 OBP version inconsistency?

I just got used Blade 100 and it when I got it prtdiag -v would give me this:

System PROM revisions:

-

OBP 4.3.2 2001/08/29 15:43 Sun Blade 100

POST 1.2.6 2000/08/30 21:20

After upgrading PROM with the patch 119235-01 (I guess that's the latest one) now I have this:

System PROM revisions:

-

OBP 4.17.1 2005/04/11 14:31

POST 2.0.1 2001/08/23 17:13

Interesting is that OBP from August 29th 2001 has version number 4.3.2 and it says Sun Blade 100 after it, and "new' OBP has version number 4.17.1 and it doesn't say anthing after it. It appears that either there is inconsistency in OBP numbering convention for Blade 100's PROM patches or there are some specific PROM patches for Blade 100s which are not available for public distribution?

Could anyone shed some light on this please.

Regards

Hello,

did you introduce new math ?

3 greater than 17, very interesting !

No, just kidding. These are separate numbers without a decimal point, the point is the separator between major-revision, minor-revision and ...

Minor-revision 17 is newer/greater than minor-revision 3.
