Graphics on Blade 100

Hi.

I am new to the Blade 100 concept.

I have upgraded my Blade 100 with 1Gb RAM and Seagate 120GB 7k2rpm 8Mb cach HD.

I want to upgrade with better graphics.

What card is better then the onboard?

I can se on the hardware handboook that there is a PGX32, PGX64, Expert3D etc.

Are all of them better then the onboard?

I do not run any CAD system so I do not have any special needs of that kind, I just want the graphics to be as fast as possible on this one.

Please advice.

Ok, maby my question was difuse.

I am new to the SUN hardware concept, thats wy I ask.

I have searched this forumsand google, and come up with noting about this. Many treadhs with discussings of different card and if they work with different workstations do exists.

What I seen in som discussion, the Blade 100 have a onboard PGX64 with 8Mb RAM. Is this correct?

And if this is the case, is it correct that the PGX32 would be slower?

It make sens if the onboard is a PGX64. So this would be a bad choise for a better graphics.

I Also saw a note about the XVR-100, and it should be slow compared to the onboard graphics in 2D? The only gain is 3D?

Expert 3D is what I found an older version of the XVR-100?

What I want is, as fast graphics I can get in the 2D (eg java desktop (Gnome))

I do not use 3D, no gaming or CADD. It is a plain development environment for bussines applikations.

Is the solution to stick with the onboard or to buy a Blade 150 that have almost double the performance.

Or is there a better graphics choise to the Blade 100?
