Slow display 450 Enterprise

I have an Enterprise 450 4X450MZ processors, and 4 gB of mem. The display is very slow, window moves produce a grid across the window while the move is taking place. The LCD display is a SONY sdm-n50. The display card shows as follows in the messages file:

Oct 20 20:36:08 RTR-Home450 pcipsy: [ID 370704 kern.info] PCI-device: TSI,<a href="mailto:gfxp&#64;3" target="_blank">gfxp@3</a>, gfxp0

Oct 20 20:36:08 RTR-Home450 genunix: [ID 936769 kern.info] gfxp0 is /<a href="mailto:pci&#64;6" target="_blank">pci@6</a>,4000/TSI,<a href="mailto:gfxp&#64;3" target="_blank">gfxp@3</a>

Oct 20 20:36:08 RTR-Home450 gfxp: [ID 722914 kern.notice] TSI: gfxp0 is GFX8P @ 1024x768

I am running Solaris 10. Is it possible the card is too small..

Thanks,

first of all, the E450 doesn't work very well with 450 cpus... but it sounds like the frame buffer doesn't like the LCD... and you would have to spend a lot of money to get a "bigger" frame buffer...

Does anyone have any experience with LCDs and Sun frame buffers? I haven't been able to afford them... I am content with Sun monitors...
