Installing patches via Jumpstart

If I want to install patches only using Jumpstart, how would I do that?

Jumpstart is for installing Solaris base operating system. You can't just install patches with it.You can install patches during a Jumpstart install by using a Finish script. See your Jumpstart doc's for info

As Tim suggested:You can download the most recent EIS CD from Sun's website and add that to your Jumpstart server. Then call the installation script from the Finish / Post-install script and they'll get installed automagically.

1. Go to http://sunsolve.sun.com2. Go to "Patches and updates"3. Go to "?Recommended Patch Clusters " which is under "Downloads"4. Select the appropriate OS version and platform.5. Download :)
