File permissions

This is my first time to see directory/file permissions in the form of

drwx+ 3 owner group 512 Jan 15 2004 rational_lm7.0f

The + sign at the end of permission field is something that I don'r understand?

What is the meaning of + in permissions?

How it got set to + ?

That means ACL rights have been set up for that directory or file.To see what the acls are:getfacl(1m)To set acls use:setfacl(1m)
