trying to find out ip addresses

Hi,

i have 9 sun ray terminals attached to the main server. I know the ip address, dns, gateway of the server. How do i know the ip address of each individual sun ray terminal. Also, if i wanted to attach my laptop to this network, how do i assign a new ip and stuff .
