Sunfire V210 error - PSU @ PS0 has FAULTED

I am getting errors from my server when running dmesg:

rmclomv: [ID 211032 kern.error] PSU @ PS0 has FAULTED

The server led is also orange, but everything is still working fine.

The lights out manager (ALOM) shows:

Power Supplies:

Supply Status Underspeed Overtemp Overvolt Undervolt Overcurrent

PS0 FAULTED ON OFF OFF OFF OFF

Underspeed is ON.

Does anyone know what this is, is it a false alarm or do I need to replace the power supply. The server is only 12 months old so I am surprised a piece of hardware is failing already, that's not why I paid a premium for Sun hardware.

Hey, flukes are always a possibility :)But yeah, I'd at least give Sun a call to see what they think...

That's what support contracts are for :) Sorry to hear that it's a prob for you though. I hope you can work something out.
