SunRay smartcard screen lock

Running SunRay version 2.0 on E4500 server with Solaris 9.

Every time a SunRay smartcard is removed and re-inserted Solaris 9 locks the screen and requires user password entry to restart the session. This happens even if the card is removed and immediately re-inserted.

How can we turn off Solaris 9 screen lock with smartcards or at least extend the timeout?

Note: we did not see this issue until we upgraded from Solaris 8 SSray version 1.3 to Solaris 9 and

SSray version 2.0.
