defunct processes in gnome 2.0 and solaris 9
I have an E250 with (2) 400Mz Ultra II CPU's and IGB of RAM. I am using Solaris OE 9 04/03 and SunRay Server 2.0. I have installed gnome 2.0 without any errors.
My issue is that if I log in to console as root and select gnome 2.0, /usr/bin/gnome-session spawns about 75 defunct process. This does not happen if I choose CDE at the console or if I use gnome (as root) on a SunRay terminal.
I only get the list of defunct processes logged in as root on the console using gnome 2.0.
Any insight would be helpful. It is not a huge issue, it is just bugging the heck out of me because it it doesn't happen on my ultra5 and the software is nearly identical (except for the SunRay server software) .
Thanks for taking the time to read this post!
